To be honest if you drive far enough you can get anything you want. I just want a Starbucks close by LOL. We have large grocry shops with in 14 or so miles one way. There is a smaller grocery store just 2 1/2 miles away.
I just love buy local produce and home grown meat. Oh and the cream was different. It did go well with the strawberry's that were a tiny bit tart.
I've never seen that movie. So I have no idea LOL.
Happily living in a small village in Suffolk, England.
I've had a great life and I am enjoying getting older. This year I'll be an OAP baby! Heh, then I will get that bus pass.

LOL -- how strange! country life sounds like it could be fun unless you really need something you can't find

The florist for veggies? This sounds interesting...
Veggies at the florist seems reasonable, even Fresh Jersey cream at the butchers, but EGGS at the POST OFFICE? lol
Our post office is a one person operation. If you get more than three people inside at once you have to wait outside LOL.
They sell candy, toys, cards, stationary, post cards, post card clocks, maps of Cavendish and not forgetting the great eggs and more.
