Seen at the bird feeder.

A Carrion Crow stopped by twice this morning for great beakfulls of fruit. I was quite suprised to see it because after all it's a robber bird and steals eggs , baby birds and from bird nests and of course injured and dead birds, rabbits and what other carrion it finds.

I thought it was a Rook who also stopped by today. It looked like it was lager than the Rook. I have to say that it's eyes looked evil LOL.

Hi Vanda,

Thanks for your kind comment on my blog. I actually came across your blog a few days ago and did not get the chance to comment. What struck me first was your name: I only know one person with this name (my brother's ex-girlfriend) and don't know of anyone else with it. So, it was a nice surprise!

Anyway, just wanted to say "hi" and I'll be sure to come back often. How can I resist? Your little dog is so adorable (and I'm not even an animal person - in spite of having a dog of my own!)

Cheers for now! ;)

Francesca

A crow is a seriously big bird. Smart, too! Is a Carrion Crow as big as regular crows?
