I switched the laptop on this morning to read my feeds, that's my daily newspaper you know LOL. Anyway I got nothing, not a flicker, not a light flashing, zip, zero, nada! Hmmm, checked the back everything is plugged in, I can hear the motor doing it's thing. Turn off, turn on still the Black Screen Of Death, EEEEEKKKKK. Ok Vanda take a deep breaths, don't panic yet. Turned on, turned off several times. Waaaaa still the Black Screen Of Death.
I can't afford to take it to the laptop hospital, so I sat there trying to figure out how long I can go without my laptop before I totally lose my mind. Oh wait I can go to the Library but only once a week and can only stay online for 1/2 hour, WAAAAAAAAAA. If all else fails go make a cup off coffee, take some paracetamol for the massive headache the Black Screen Of Death has caused.
Stop panicking, put thinking cap on. Take out battery, hard drive and open a few other compartments and give them all a good blow. Leave for five minutes and put back together. Close eyes and turn lappy back on.
Whoooo Hoooooo it worked!!!!!!!!!! Vanda is one happy camper. No need to go into a deep depression. PHEWWWWWWWWWWWW. Thank you laptop Goddess.

Ack! My old laptop did that for a good while before retirement. Made me insane.
