In the garden right now



Now this bird is gorgeous. The colours are outstanding. I think we must have some really good fat juicey worms in the front garden. It can spend ages pecking in one spot eating. I've tried to get a picture out of the window but I just can't get a close enough shot to show what a fine looking bird this is.

I love woodpeckers - unless their chosen place to hammer away is the side of one's home (had that happen.)

There are some beautiful black, white, and red woodpeckers around here. They are probably my second favouritest tweetie!
