Well Hello BT broadband, I think I love you!

Dang it's hard getting used to another broadband service. What I don't like about it is I can't put all my favourites in one place, I can put six on the home page and the rest go into a Yahoo folder then I have to remember what is where, but thinking about it maybe I need to make a new folder. Silly me of course that's what I'll do. I loooove how much faster it connects than AOL. No waiting 5 minutes, no "not responding" messages. Did I mention how quicker it connects? I find the home page a bit busy but I'm slowly getting that sorted.

The hardest thing is remembering to change my email address. I must have eleventy hundred places to do that, let alone trying to remember when I comment on a blog. Oh I remembered the really important stuff like the bank, library and my blog. But the catalogues I use for online shopping, nope still haven't done it.

Talking of catalogues, I ordered two pair of stretch jeans for myself today. All winter I've been wearing a pair of sweat pants that belonged to hubby. I only wear them because they are so comfortable on my bank and don't press on "that" spot at all. But it's about time I got something more appropriate to wear out shopping. Heh, I even went mad and paid for priority delivery.

I have 174 feeds to catch up on, maybe I just have to many and should chop my list down. Nope that will never happen. Back to blog reading!

Dear AOL and Carphone Warehouse

Eight years I've been with AOL and had great service until last year. I recommended you to lots of people for your great customer service. Then AOL was sold to Carphone warehouse and my problems started and I really really hate that white screen of death!

As soon as you send me the MAC code I am signing up with BT broadbad. Take your "AOL is not responding" message and send it to India. Telling me I do not have enough space is stupid, I know it's because your tech support person in India did not understand what I was telling him and further more didn't trasfer me to someone else, even though I asked him to. "They will tell you the same thing" he said. Mind you telling me that was a great way to get rid of me because after more than 15 minutes on the live tech support online, I was ready to reach into my screen and do some damage to him..

So within three working days acording to your customer service rep in India is all I have to wait until I can order my brand new broadband package. It will take five working days to get to me then, I'm outta here!

I hate being a grown up.

I guess I should say adult, but that would cause my hubby to choke on his tea.

Sigh, I decided to buy new towels and a new blind to go with the newly decorated bathroom. Pretty blue and turquoise bath sheets. Both colours are in the wall paper but I really wanted all blue, but the sets I like had no blasted bath sheets.

So no new part for my laptop sighhhhhh. Oh well only 27 more days until I can stay online for more than a few minutes at a time.

I hate having to make grown up decisions. I want to win the lottery to but you know how that goes.

Go to eat some chocolate now, that will make me feel better.

Bird flu or West Nile virus.

Woke up yesterday feeling like i was going to die. Today I feel a tad better. We're kid sitting our great niece Georgia for 9/10 days. Feeling a tad better today we went to the park to feed the ducks and have an impromptu picnic. Most of the stuff we brought home but as least we have some nice nice fruit and nibble to have later or tomorrow. Must have a laundry day tomorrow. Right now I feel like I need to rest but have to make a prawn sandwich that G wants for dinner with garlic bread and we are having spaghetti. I love spaghetti for dinner along with the garlic bread. I think we still have some ice cream in the fridge for desert

The nice thing about living in the this very small village is that everyone knows Spike so I know she is safe going around the block on her own.Spike is going to be either worn out or slim and healthily with amount of times G takes him out for his walk.

God I need a nap.
