My own Little Rascal

was delivered on Thursday or Friday, I forget which day it was. Oh, Ohhhh it's bright, red and shiny, has a comfortable seat takes the bumps on the pavement well bbbbbumpy. Oh and it's bright shiny red!!!!! I've used it twice to go to the village shop and no aching back when I got home. I still have to take Spike for his short walk on my own two legs at least five days a week just so the blood is forced through new veins made by my body so I don't lose the old leg. I'm kind of fond of it ya know. But with the wonders of modern drugs I can just about manage that even if I walk like I'm 90 by the time I get back LOL.
I just can't wait until the beginning of next month when we go shopping in Cambridge or Bury St. Edmunds. Heh I'll be able to go in each and every shop if I want to. Hmmm I wonder if they are all disabled friendly like they are supposed to be?

I ordered one of these....

through my disability payments, on Friday. It fits in the car in three pieces that John and I can life easily and if I'm on my own it breaks down into five easy to pick up pieces.

Now I can go grocery shopping, around the open air markets, the boot sales or swap meets to you Americans, without being in agony by the times I'm done. There are so many places to go around here that I just can't do the walk around thing for more than a few minutes. The payments come out of the mobility part of my disability payment and after a small payment every month, after a year it's all mine.

Bury St. Edmunds, Cambridge and Snetterton here I come! Ok, when I get it I'll be there, maybe in about four weeks.
