Yea! This is very good news
In regards to your world cup posts, could you please explain why England uses a different flag and not the "union jack". my family and i were big world cup watchers, but were totally confused. I dont' have a blog but will check back with you if you would be so kind as to explain. so cheerio they say from "miserably hot" louisiana!
Good question, anonymous from a "miserable hot Louisiana".
The Union Jack is the flag that represents the United Kindom which is England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales.
The red cross on a white backgroud is the St. George cross and he is the patron Saint of England.
Only England of the four countries were in the World Cup, so that was the flag you saw.
Wales, Ireland and Scotland all have their own flags that represent their own patron Saint.
St. Patrick=Ireland,
St. David=Wales,
St. Andrew=Scotland.
Thanks for asking such a great question!
We thought that that was the answer, but googled it and never could find the answer! you were quite helpful! by the way it was 105 F here yesterday (i don't know what that would be C, but today even hotter!
Vanda: Of course you may steal.
:)
Glad you enjoyed it!
