Pity Me - Durham.

Titsey - Surrey.

Muff - County Donegal, Ireland.

Swine - East Yorks.

Pratts Bottom -Kent, means " the village at the bottom of the hill where the Pratt family live".

Wyre Piddle - Worchestershire.

Upperthong - West Yorks.

Slaggford - Northumberland means " muddy river crossing".

Cockermouth - Cumbria.

Shitterton - Dorset, means" village on the stream used as an open sewer".

Pishill - Oxforshire.

Upper Dicker - Eeast Sussex, near Lower Dicker.

Once Brewed - Northumerland near Twice Brewed.

Rest and Be Thankful - Argyll.

Matching Tye - Essex.

Prickwillow - Cambridgeshire.

Six Mile Bottom - Cambridgeshire. (I've been through there).

Gog Magog - Cambridgeshire. ( there too).

Some of these are hilarious! I always get a kick out of odd names of streets and towns, especially when you stop and think "How on earth did they come up with that name!" LOL thank you for the visit the other day. Stacie
