Anyone want my backache?

I hurt like hell today, this morning I was in weird cleaning mood. I cleaned and sorted out the kitchen drawers. Yesterday I cleaned the fridge. I haven't felt like cleaning for months. Maybe the new drugs are working. Hey maybe I'll be in the mood to wash walls and doors soon LOL.

John and I took Spike for his walk, John took him on the Village green while I went to the shop for 4 pints of milk, these come in glass bottles. We ended up walking all over the green with him, yellow dog's poop bags in hand, like a good dog owner;-). And the bloody milk was heavy for my back, I could have cried with the pain by the time I got home. But I have to walk every day because of the blockage in my groin. I'm sitting here in my comfy chair until dinner time. Well except for the times I get up and just move around, can't sit to long either.

I put myself on the full dose of Zanaflex today and went up to 1200mg Gabapenin. Next week I'll start my way up to the full dose 2500mg of the Gabe. I sure don't think the Zanaflex is any good. My muscle spasms are dreadful, but I'll give it a week or so before I phone the Doctor at the pain clinic. I just hope I don't get anymore body thatches, but that'll go in a few weeks so the PIS said.
My head is feeling very fuzzy, so any spelling errors and down to that.

I hope y'all have a pain free, fee good day.

Hey There!

Just wanted to pop in and say thanks for visiting Gimps R' Us, over in JLand. LOLL We hope it will be a good thing, and help a lot of people, so if you have any ideas, PLEASE speak up! In the mean time, take care...and cut yourself some slack on the smoking. COld Turkey might not be the best way to go, as it will put a tremendous stress on your body. Perhaps the Patches? Let me know how it's going. Andi

OK I have a question... could it be that all of this cleaning madness has caused some pain to occur? Pain that might not be happening right now if you hadn't gone on the cleaning binge? I'm just askin... (hugs)

I think you're right Denise. I have so much more energy now I've stopped one of the old meds. I need to learn to pace myself again. Do a little at a time.
